Give Claude Code a voice.
Pick the moments you want to hear — Claude finishing, asking for you, starting up — choose one of your own operating system's sounds for each, and download one installer that wires them into Claude Code. Works on macOS and Windows.
Your operating system(detected)
The installer is built for one operating system, because Windows and macOS keep their sounds in different places under different names. Change this if you are downloading here to run somewhere else.
These three numbers go into ~/.claude/antioch-sounds/config.json. Edit that file any time and the next alert uses the new values — no reinstall. Leaving this unticked installs nothing extra.
Then run it from wherever it downloaded:
node install-claude-sounds.mjsUndo any time:
node install-claude-sounds.mjs --uninstallThe installer writes to your user-level ~/.claude/settings.json and drops a tiny player into ~/.claude/antioch-sounds. It never touches your other hooks, and it downloads nothing — every sound is one your operating system already ships. If a chosen sound is ever missing, a dependable one plays instead rather than nothing at all. Re-run it any time; --uninstall removes it.
